Wraith Golf Disc

Disc Golf Disc Weight?

My boyfriend has been feeling down lately and I want to get him some discs for disc golf as he loves playing but doesn't have any of his own yet. I looked around and found a couple that people seem to like.

Driver - Wraith EchoSTAR
Putter - Birdie DX

The only problem is that when I go to order them, I have to choose weight from a drop box and I don't know which one to choose!

For the Wraith, the options are 170-172 grams or 173-176 grams.
For the Birdie, the options are 150 class, 166-169 grams, 170-172 grams, 173-176 grams.

Does he need a midrange disc? Any suggestions?
