First the product: If you’ve gone to their website and seen the video you’ll know what I’m talking about. Loosing a $20 disc sucks, and if you have this little gadget there is a good chance of recovery. I’ve used it in ponds where you can’t see the bottom, and came out with discs! I occasionally cast it in there just to see what I can grab. It snags a disc, then uses the disc shape to raise it out of the water, and away from snags on the bottom… Sharp idea, nice product, I wish the inventor success.
About the Seller: I bought disc diver about 6 weeks ago, had a problem with shipping and it didn’t arrive. I mentioned to the seller I didn’t get the product… what does he do… sends me a brand new one in it’s place (it had a paint chip or so he says LOL… it looked perfect to me). So I get the disc diver, and USPS finally finds the first one that they mistakenly sent somewhere else. I notified the seller, TOLD him I wanted to PAY. He refused, and asked merely to give it to another person who may need it at the course. I don’t want to give you the wrong impression, he’s not in the business of giving away disc divers, but he is in the business of honesty, he deserves high praise for his customer service. Outstanding seller! I WILL do business with him again.

I have been very happy with this product so far. It is well worth the price. I have used it about 15-18 times and only once did it fail me. That was when the disc landed in a spot where there were flat rocks 1 foot or so in diameter behind the disc and on either side. It is nice to not have to alter your throw because of fear that your disc will land in the water.

The Golden Retriever is awesome. You’ll have to practice a bit with it and go ahead and tie on the bigger string or get yourself more string you’ll need it trust me( and sure its strong, nylon preferably.

Product really works well if you can see your disc. Easy toss and it will pull it right out. Blind throwing doesn’t work too well, but it helped to get someone else’s disc back to them.
I was surprised how sturdy it is. I caught is on an Xmas tree someone threw into the pond, and it took two of us to pull it back, but we reeled the tree in from about 20′ and it didn’t bend the retriever. Am going to buy a second one so we can have one with the long string, and one short. HIghly recommend!

So I got this yesterday and went out after work to try it out. It’s a good idea and it does work but if the water is muddy and murky good luck finding the disc. If you can’t see the bottom of the body of water you obviously can’t tell if you’re missing the disc and you can’t tell if the rtriver is skipping over rocks and sticks. I was able to find one disc while throwing this thing out and blindly pulling it back but in thw mean time I watched a kid wade around in the water and find 9 discs. So I recommend having this in your pocket when you play just in case you put a disc in the water but you’ll need some luck in murky water.
